Born on 28 May 1968 in Melbourne, Australia, Kylie Ann Minogue, began her career in 1986 on the Australian TV soap Neighbours. Soon after Minogue was signed to Mushroom Records and began her singing career with the song I Should Be So Lucky and the debut album Kylie, which reached number one on British charts. Minogue followed this in 1989 with the album Enjoy Yourself and the single Especially for You , which was Minogues first single to sell over 1 million copies in the UK. Minogue released a further two albums Rhythm of Love in 1990 and Let’s Get to It in 1991 before leaving Mushroom records. In 1994 Minogue released the album Kylie Minogue with success in Australia and Europe, followed by Impossible Princess, which was her lowest selling album. Minogue came back with the popular albums Light Years in 2000 and Fever in 2001 which contained the single Can’t Get You out of My Head , her biggest success selling over four million worldwide. Minogue has since released the album Body Language in 2003 which was popular but didn t reach Fever along with a best of album Ultimate Kylie.
